I love James Acaster! How did I not know about this? Regarding ATC (2016), seeing the female characters cast as heroes and the male as a himbo put me off. Annie Potts wasn't just a secretary, she was efficient, intelligent and dedicated "I've quit better jobs than this" she says, so obviously experienced as a PA / secretary

A genius movie! The absolute best comedy.

First of all, emotional Spock first appeared in the Cage, which was the original pilot to Star Trek. This was unaired and was in Menagerie because the powers that be thought it was to cerebral. I believe the Cage might still be available. So what if new Star Trek is in alternate timelines. I have a theory. The original timeline got shifted in the original Star Trek and newer Star Trek was the aftermath. The Guardian of Forever was the first creation of 2 different timelines. McCoy saving the woman who was supposed to die, which altered the timeline first, and Kirk letting her creating another timeline. So infact there were 3 timelines in that episode the original, the McCoy, and the Kirk. So the real question is which of the three did the original series followed?

I love the movies of Ghostbusters saw the movie in 84. I would like to see in the new movie a fresh perspective..something that will give honor to the remaining orig. cast ..like the new cast gets over their head and orig. cast comes in to the rescue...like a calvary

I actually think the rest of the dune books will each be made into two movies. So I think Dune Messiah will get two parts and then I think children of Dune will get two parts and dune, Messiah, two parts and chapter house Dune will get two parts.

Expectations were never high. Stop with the nonsense. The acting in your clip alone shows how ridiculous its “critic” score. Star Wars fans want Star Wars. Intentionally breaking lore and pushing agenda over narrative and creativity is never a smart move. The fans are speaking. It’s not racism or toxic behavior. No series, prequel or sequel please, Galaxy Quest is and should be standing on it's own. We know what Matrix 2, 3 and 4 did to the original!

I worked nights and had no idea that Star Trek: Enterprise even existed until it appeared on Paramount last year. It is set to record all episodes and I look forward to watching each one.

Thats is indeed a very awsome movie and even better that you can look and look again and again, not like these junk was produced nowdays!

I didn't go see GB cuz I hated the theme and it was unavoidable in the days of boomboxes. Saw it after it was out on VHS. Became my favorite movie of all time. It even cured my hatred of the theme.😁

Loved the first episode ... after that its been questionable. I agree. If they're not going to keep it in cannon then they should just use different characters. Not making much sense ... this Spock now is a soft and shouldn't be on the bridge. I can't deal with a Vulcan that more emotional than a woman.

It's 2024, May and I would love a sequel !!! Especially if Gwen Demarco is in it !!!!

I loved Enterprise and I'm disappointed that it couldn't have gone seven seasons, and that it didn't spawn a couple of feature films, afterwards😕☹😖

It's amusing the lengths that some people go about the entertainment business and the pretense of being an expert about silly future forecasting. Here's the deal: Star Trek doesn't predict the fure - it can't. THe 21st century will emanate totally differently.

Just finding out it is owned by Disney I can guarantee a reboot will never happen or it will become a platform for all thing gay/trans. Disney will ruin it like they did Star Wars and the John Carter of Mars series (could have been made like a LOTR epic ) the books are amazing and almost NOTHING like the John Carter movie. Why does Disney have to ruin EVERYTHING. give up the rights and let someone else run with it.

Bought it on VHS in 2001 from my local video store here in England. I also bought a packet of Marlboro reds and a four-pack of Carlsberg Special Brew because I was classy ;). Yeah, I still remember what I bought. It pissed on all the Star Trek and new (at the time) Star Wars movies. I don't want a sequel or a series, that's how important this movie is to me. Still have the VHS tape and only watch the movie every five years.

In 2007 a short-lived series called "Drive" came to Fox, created by Tim Minear (who also was a producer on Firefly). Nathan Fillion aka Captain Tightpants starred. As I recall, Fox only aired 4 episodes (which were shown on different nights) and then announced the show was canceled because it hadn't found an audience. Well, with the way they moved it around, a potential audience would have had to actively chase it all over the dial. It seems clear that the show was, for reasons unknown, sabotaged on purpose from the beginning. The only thing Fox didn't do was assign it the time slot of death. Instead they put it up against "Dancing with the Stars" and "Deal or No Deal." It didn't stand a chance. And back in the mid 1990s another Fox show followed pretty much the exact same cancellation path as Firefly. That one was called "Space: Above and Beyond." Great show; gone too soon.
